DeerRun explicitly markets the Q2 Urban as needing no assembly. It arrives ready to use out of the box.
Several owners report the printed instructions only cover unboxing and plugging in, but the belt won’t actually start until you download the PitPat app and complete WiFi/Bluetooth pairing.
Budget a few extra minutes for app setup even though the hardware itself needs no tools to assemble.
DeerRun positions the Q2 Urban as its #1 best-seller for under-desk walking, built around simplicity, a small footprint and a low entry price.
It is ideal for:
- Home-office workers who want a basic, quiet walking pad for low-speed movement during calls or desk work.
- Apartment dwellers and small-space owners. DeerRun’s own comparison tool positions this as its “Small-Space Daily” pick.
- Beginners who want a fixed incline for a bit more challenge without needing auto-incline controls or a higher price tag.
Available in Rose Gold (DeerRun notes it’s chosen by 85% of customers) Black, Blush Pink and Graphite Gray.
Blush Pink and Graphite Gray are only available on Amazon currently.
DeerRun suggests daily, low-speed walking (0.6–3.8 mph) during work or downtime, not for high-intensity or high-frequency training.

Our Take
The Q2 Urban competes almost entirely on price and simplicity rather than features: a fixed (not powered) 7% incline, a 3.8 mph top speed lower than most rivals and a no-assembly, plug-in design backed by an unusually generous 60-day return window and a no-registration 1-year warranty.
Real buyer reviews are largely positive but consistently flag that the PitPat app pairing step is more involved than the box’s instructions suggest and at least one reviewer described a rough customer-service experience getting help with it.
Within DeerRun’s own lineup, two upgrades are worth knowing about before you commit: the Q2 Urban Plus offers the same 7% incline with a longer belt and the Z10 Pro steps up to a genuine 12% auto-incline with speeds to 7.5 mph for those who have outgrown the fixed incline and speed ceilings.
